Aden — Yemen's Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Yamani has submitted his resignation to President Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi.

Okaz has learned that Yemen's ambassador to Washington Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak, the leader of the Congress party and former foreign minister Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi are the most prominent candidates to succeed Yamani.

Al-Yemani assumed his post as foreign minister in the Yemeni government after being a permanent UN representative for years. — Agencies
