JEDDAH — Senior officials held a preparatory meeting for the 14th Islamic Summit under the chairmanship of Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral International Affairs Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi.

During the meeting, the final documents of the Makkah Summit were discussed and the draft agenda and action program of the Council of Foreign Ministers' preparatory meeting for 14th session were approved.

Foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries are scheduled to hold their preparatory meeting for the 14th session of the Islamic Summit Wednesday.

The summit, which is titled “Makkah Summit: Together for the Future”, aims at developing a unified stance on events in the Islamic world.

It will be held on May 31.
