JEDDAH –
The Attorney General Sheikh Saud Al-Moajab has stressed to heads of Public Prosecution branches in the regions to attach great importance to cases involving families and try their best to reconcile and ensure confidentiality, apart from coordinating with the Reconciliation Unit at the Public Prosecution headquarters to lay down the controls in this regard, informed sources confirmed to Okaz/Saudi Gazette.

The Attorney General has asserted to all heads of Public Prosecution branches in the regions the necessity to activate the role of reconciliation, which has been adopted by Public Prosecution via the Conciliation Unit that has achieved positive results since the beginning of its functions.

The Unit has contributed to solving and settling many family cases in particular, with the objective of reducing the burden on courts, while safeguarding the cohesion of the family and society.
