JEDDAH — In line with the efforts exerted by the Kingdom to improve the levels of cooperation between the public and private sectors in order to achieve its objectives to enhance the participation of Saudi citizens in various fields, Halwani Bros, the pioneer in the world of food production, manufacturing and distribution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King Abdulaziz University (KAU).

The MoU was signed by Fawaz Halwani, Vice President, Halwani Brothers and Yousef Al Turki, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research to work on establishing a centre of excellence called (Center of Excellence Halwani Brothers for studies on food produced in the company) to ensure that the knowledge and technology of the new graduates will be transferred to the Kingdom as part of the vision of 2030 Kingdom, within the framework of the rules and regulations applied at the University.

Thamer Temairik, Chief Executive Officer, said: "We have followed a practical strategy that reflects our firm commitment to the kingdom's efforts and efforts to achieve the goals of 'Vision 2030'”

He added “our partnership with the region's leading King Abdul Aziz University is part of a series of steps we have taken in this context to deliver high-quality food products by innovating and bringing ideas through teams of the highest levels of efficiency.” — SG
