JEDDAH — The East Jeddah Hospital (EJH) represented Jeddah Health Affairs directorate at the 36th AlexORL, which was held Alexandria, Egypt, from April 16 to 20.

The Alexandria International Combined ORL Congress (AlexORL)

consisted of 160 lectures, four workshops, six panel discussions and two hand-on courses.

During the opening ceremony guest speakers from 27 countries including Saudi Arabia were introduced.

Updated technology and evidence-based medicine with innovative medical approach were also included in the congress.

East Jeddah hospital representation by 2 staffs

Dr. Rajab Alzahrani and Dr. Khalid Alahmadi spoke about their experiences at East Jeddah Hospital in intraoperative neuro-monitoring during head and neck surgery.

Cochlear implants, skull base and advanced head and neck surgeries were discussed at the congress. — SG
