2 terrorists killed in EP checkpoint attack

ABU HADRIYAH, QATIF —
Four attackers targeted a security checkpoint with hand grenade in Markaz Abu Hadriyadh, Qatif in the Eastern Province on Sunday as they tried to flee the country.

This led to the death of two and the arrest of two others.

They included three terrorists wanted in connection with Qatif attacks.

The terrorists attempted to evade a security checkpoint trying to flee the country, but the security forces surrounded them in a nearby area of a fuel station, 5 km from Abu Hadriyah –Dammam Expressway.

The ensuing exchange of fire resulted in the death of the two terrorists while two others were arrested.

One security man sustained minor injuries in the operation and there was also some damage to a restaurant.
