Saudi airports greet Kuwaiti passengers with gifts on National Day

RIYADH — The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) participated in the celebrations marking the 58th National Day of the State of Kuwait on Monday, reflecting the deep relations between the two countries.

A number of events were held at various airport terminals. The passengers were received with roses and were presented national flags of the two countries.

In addition, souvenirs were distributed on this special occasion.

At King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, incoming passengers from Kuwait were greeted with flowers, flags and souvenirs to celebrate the occasion with the Kuwaiti brothers inside the airport. A welcome statement was displayed on large screens inside the terminals.

At King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, departing and arriving passengers were presented with flowers, chocolates and flags of the two nations as well as souvenirs for this special occasion.

At King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, terminals were decorated with the flags of the two countries as a way to celebrate the occasion. Welcoming words were placed on the display screens.

Similar gestures made at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah and Taif International Airport.

While the rest of the airports around the Kingdom had their terminals decorated with the flags of the two nations in an atmosphere that reflected the solidarity and brotherly relations between the two countries. — SG
