February 19, 2019

RIYADH — The King Faisal Prize Committee and Alfaisal University signed a cooperation agreement to jointly promote activities of mutual interest.

The agreement capitalizes on the great success of the “Pioneers in Medicine” conference held last December. As a result, “Pioneers in Medicine” will be held periodically as a major medical event covering important research and the latest developments in modern medicine.

The agreement was signed at Alfaisal University by Dr. Mohammed Al-Hayaza, president of the university, and Dr. Abdulaziz Alsebail, secretary-general of King Faisal Prize. Princess Dr. Maha Bint Mishari Al-Saud, vice president for external relations and advancement at the university, and Professor Khaled Al-Kattan, vice president of administrative and financial affairs and dean of the College of Medicine, and by KFP’s scientific advisor Sulaiman Almzied attended the ceremony.

Dr. Alsebail emphasized the significance of extending bridges between scientific entities. He was confident that the collaboration with the Alfaisal University will help enrich academic and scientific knowledge as well as encourage it to better serve humanity by honoring those who are pioneers in the medical field. — SG
