February 15, 2019

JEDDAH — Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) will launch its new international destination to Athens in Greece, on June 5, 2019, as the first international destination in 2019. It will operate four flights a week from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Press Agency said Friday.

Saudia's Director General Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser said in a statement Friday that operating direct flights to Athens comes in the context of investment in the new fleet and expanding Saudia's operations in the international sector, which achieved during 2018 a big leap (11%) over 2017, as the sector witnessed an unprecedented expansion in the number of new destinations. — SPA
