RIYADH — Abdul Waheed smashed his second consecutive double ton this week in the 6th round of the AMEX Cricket Tournament, sponsored by American Express Saudi Arabia and organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).

Continuing his form from last weeks’ epic 219, this time he hammered 200 against Sama Steel.

Al-Kharaj League

Pak Shaheen thrashed Sama Steel by a massive margin of 233 runs. Batting first, Pak Shaheen posted 463-7. Abdul Waheed scored 200 of just 106 balls. Faisal also played a splendid knock of 159. Adnan took 3 wickets and Bilal 2. In reply, Sama Steel was restricted to 230. Amir top scored with 60 and Kashif made 49. Dawood bagged 4 wickets and, Faisal 2.

Al Harbi lost to Riyadh Aces by 176 runs. Riyadh Aces scored 402-5. Irshad continued his supreme form with an unbeaten 116. Hashem, Owais and Zohaib scored fifties making 90, 65 and 77, respectively. Shahid picked up 2 wickets. Al-Harbi could manage only 226 in reply. Shahid, Salman and Zahid resisted with 57, 42 and 49, respectively. Nadeem grabbed 3 wickets, while Shahzaib and Salam took 2 wickets each.

Diriyah League

Knight Hawks defeated Shadin Bangla by 22 runs. Hawks piled up 162. Haroon hammered 79 and Abhijeet scored 28. Habib and Noor claimed 2 wickets each. Shadin Bangla was all out for 140. Naim (23) and Jani (20) showed some resistance. Amit claimed 4 wickets and Noman 3.

Shinkiari Zalmi lost to Royce White Star Blue by 5 wickets. Zalmi put on 109. Noor and Shahzaib from lower order fought hard, making 38 and 36, respectively. Naseem grabbed 4 wickets and Rana 2. Royce got to the target in 15.3 overs. Faizan (52) and Babar (22) played vital knocks. Inam and Prakash shared 2 wickets each.
