Mosque hit in Houthi attack in Asir

ABHA – A military projectile, fired by Houthi militias, hit a mosque in Dhahran Al-Janoub in the southern Asir region on Tuesday.

Col. Muhammad Al-Asimi, spokesman of the Civil Defense Directorate in Asir region, said that the Civil Defense men received information about a military projectile fired by the Iran-backed Houthis in a village in Dhahran Al-Janoub.

There were damages reported in a mosque, as well as a citizen’s house and a well in a farm in the attack, he said adding that nobody was hurt in the incident. -- SG/SPA
