AUGUST 14 is the day when Muslims of South Asia realized their dream of Independence and Pakistan emerged as a free state on the map of the world. Pakistan was founded after an epic struggle and tremendous sacrifices by the Muslims of subcontinent led by visionary Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

Today we commemorate and pay homage to the valiant sacrifices of our forefathers and vow to carry forward their mission to make Pakistan a progressive Islamic State, envisioned by them. We also hope that our Kashmiri brethren also achieve their inalienable right to freedom soon, InshaAllah.

We are very happy to be celebrating the Independence Day in Saudi Arabia, a great friend of Pakistan. Pakistanis admire the astute leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for their special interest in promoting bilateral relations. On this auspicious occasion we would like to reiterate our commitment to the fraternal bonds and progress of the Kingdom.

Our expats in KSA have made Pakistan proud by their outstanding contribution to development of KSA and Pakistan. I am sure the Pakistanis in KSA will continue with ever more vigor and zeal to contribute to make Pakistan strong. Pakistan, a peaceful and peace abiding country is all set to take off.

Successful democratic transition and host of ongoing mega socio-economic projects including CPEC augur well for the prosperity of people of Pakistan. May Allah be our benefactor and protector.

Long Live Pakistan

Long Live Pak-Saudi Friendship
