JEDDAH — The Izhaar Urdu Talk Masters, a Toastmasters club from the Area 34 of Division H of District 79 of Saudi Arabia, held its 98th meeting with the theme “Law”. TM Abdul Sami, president of the club, welcomed all and was also the general evaluator for all the sessions.

TM Aslam Afghani hosted the prepared speech session. TM Haneef was the grammarian and Aah counter of the evening. It was his responsibility to correct the mistakes of the speakers. TM Sadiq Hussain was timekeeper and TM Moinuddin, the vote counter.

The meeting began with TM Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui presenting his project No 3 from the CC Manual. He spoke on “Education and Business”. TM Hanif evaluated him. TM Amrina Qaisar presented her project No 4 from CC Manual. She spoke on “Eyes are the windows of the soul. Pamper it”, while TM Khaleel Ahmed evaluated her. TM Sadiq Hussain too presented his project No 3 from the CC Manual. He spoke on “How destiny is certain?”. TM Mohammed Arshad evaluated him.

In the table topics session, TM Khaleel, hosted the session. TM Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui Amir, TM Hanif, TM Azra Kirmani expressed their views on “How Triple Talaq is against constitution, humanity and Qur’an” while TM Amrina Qaisar and TM Sadiq Hussain, spoke on “Does Hijab violates the Muslim women’s rights?” TM Abdul Rasheed Osmani spoke on “Positive and negative aspects of Hijab in Islam?”

Earlier, Mirza Mohammed Nawaz Baig Aarib, 4th standard student of IISJ, recited a beautiful poem on good character.

TM Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui Amir enacted a small play on how Mughal E Azam will be depicted by Bangaldeshi and Egyptians? He also mimicked several veteran Bollywood actors.

TM Abdul Sami, president, Izhaar Urdu Talk Masters, congratulated the winners. The vote counter of the evening TM Moinuddin announced the winners. Best prepared speech session award was given to TM Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui and Amrina Qaisar, while best speaker for spontaneous table topic session award and the best speech evaluator award was given to TM Hanif.
