RIYADH – Prince Faisal Bin Bandar, emir of Riyadh, honored Iqraa TV Channels, which is the media sponsor of the Competition of the King Salman Prize for Qur'an Memorization and Recitation.

The 20th edition of the competition for local boys and girls concluded in Riyadh recently. Several prominent figures, including Minister of Islamic Affairs Saleh Al-Asheikh attended the function.

On behalf of the channel, Fadi Madah, head its production unit, received a memento from Prince Faisal.

Iqraa TV, the world’s first exclusive Islamic satellite channel, provided live coverage for the activities of the competition.

Since its inception in 1998, the channel has been effectively disseminating the true message of Islam and its core principles of moderation and tolerance among viewers all over the world. It’s programs also focus on airing diverse programs related to the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s Tradition (Hadith).
