JEDDAH — Kamran of Al-Saudi Green and Abubaker Nagra of IDB blasted tons, while Abdulrehman of Sadafco grabbed 5 wickets in the Phase 2 WPCA Morning Tournament, which is sponsored, organized and managed by Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) here.

Al-Kabbani Cricket Group defeated Universal United by 7 wickets. Universal United was bowled out for 151. Bilal top scored with 56 in 38 balls, Aijaz Butt hit 23, Amir 17, Asif 10 and Irfan 10. Imran Qaiser took 3-30, Luqman Ulfat 3-40 and Asad 2-28.

Al-Kabbani Cricket Group reached 152-3 in 79 balls. Luqman Ulfat remained unbeaten on 35 and Imran Ulfat unbeaten on 15. The two added a match-winning 67 after Imran Qaiser contributed 37, Saleem Javed 22 and Zubair Zaidi (4). Asif took 2-22.

MFCC downed AGA by 2 runs. MFCC piled up 171-8. Rana Imran stroked 30 to add 60 with Jibran 46. Farhan hammered 51 in 29 balls and Mudassir Afridi 13. Jaan took 2-28, Wajid 2-22 and Hassan 2-40.

AGA, in response, fell short by a slender margin of 2 runs (169-7). Mumzil top scored with 68 in 48 balls as he added 108 in 76 balls for the third wicket with Tanveer (18). Then Aftab hit 28 and Yasin an unbeaten 18. Yassin took 2-17, Aslam 2-15 and Mudassir Afridi 2-37.

Cousins XI prevailed over Al-Saudi Green by 6 wickets. Al-Saudi Green posted 206-4. Kamran blasted 105 in 47 balls, studded with 4 sixes and 18 fours. He first added 87 with Zohaib (26) and then 57 with Nazeer Farooqui (37). Nadeem Saad scored 20.

Cousins XI reached 207-4 in 100 balls. Aqeel smashed an unbeaten 74 in 36 balls with 2 sixes and 10 fours. He first added 69 with Naveed Qamar 21 and then 62 with Irfan Khan who hammered 50 in 23 balls. Sardar remained unbeaten on 21 and Arfan 10.

Deccan Youth downed ADI XI by 8 wickets. ADI XI was bowled out for 108. Salman stroked 26, Jamshed 16, Saad 11 and Adeel 14. Shahid grabbed 3-16, Khalid 2-21 and Abid 2-22.

Deccan Youth achieved 110 for 2 in 59 balls. Ibrahim hit 20 as he added 56 with Shareef Qadri (32). Shahed remained unbeaten on 19 and Hidayath 26 not out.

IDB beat Arcoma by 69 runs. IDB amassed 247-4. Abubaker Nagra blasted 112 in 38 balls, studded with 15 fours and 7 fours to add 134 runs in 50 balls for the second wicket with Rizwan who hammered 59 in 32 balls and then 78 with Waseem (46). Earlier, Ghulfam made 20.

Arcoma in reply was stranded at 178-8. Kaleem top scored with 61 in 49 balls and added 90 in 49 balls with Abid Pervez (23). Imran scored 19, Sharief 12 and Rabbani 11. Zohair grabbed 4-20 and Zahid 2-33.

Sadafco thrashed Jeddah Tigers by 10 wickets. Jeddah Tigers were restricted to 120. Abdulkhaliq stroked 48, Taha Mahadi 26 and Nanajee 10. Abdulrehman was the pick of the bowlers with 5-21, Faisal Patel took 2-16 and Osman 2-26.

Sadafco, in chase, faced just 45 balls to get to the winning target of 122 for no loss. Ahmed Mugheri smashed an unbeaten 55 in 21 balls as Salman an unbeaten 57 in 22 balls.

Red Sea ALJ prevailed over Reel & Rom Spikes by 39 runs. Red Sea ALJ plundered 208-7. Tanveer Zamane hit 52 in 42 balls to stitch 92 in 56 balls with Ghayour (50 in 28 balls). Bilal made 16, Zahid 28 and Israr 11 not out. Junaid scalped 3-26 and Munir 3-39.

Reel & Rom Spikes responded with 169. Junaid scored 23, Ilyas 27, Munir 21 and Imran 19. Tanveer Zamane’s fine all-round performance grabbed him 4-18 and Israr 2-23.

MM Group won against AGA by 3 wickets. AGA posted 167. Jabbar scored 58 in 45 balls, Abdulrehman Patel 29 and Ashfaq 25. Asrar took 3-30, Khurram 2-27 and Sajid 2-39.

MM Group made 168-7 in 114 balls. Atif hit 47, Umair 13, Sajjad 19, Muzammil 17 not out and Faisal 10 not out. Hassan 3-37, Jabbar 2-20 and Fahad 2-43.
