Hotel prices in KSA very high: Survey

JEDDAH — Prices of hotel rooms in Saudi Arabia are very high compared to major cities of the world, according to a random survey conducted by Okaz newspaper.

The survey revealed that the cost of five-nights stay in a five-star hotel in the Kingdom would vary between SR2,500 and SR10,750 when it is only SR890 to SR2,200 in Malaysia, SR950 to SR1,800 in Turkey and SR2,000 to SR2,800 in the Italian capital Rome.

Five nights in a five-star hotel in Taif will cost SR3,000 to SR5,600 while in Abha the cost varies between SR3,000 and SR6,200. The price in Yanbu ranges from SR2,400 to SR10,750 in the beach resorts.
