TAIF — A university instructor got into trouble for making fun of a student by exposing her exam answers on social media.

The instructor at Taif University posted the answer sheet on Snapchat with a sarcastic bitmoji on it.

The university issued a statement disapproving the instructor’s action and said she may face punishment as her action violated the privacy regulations.

The university has formed a committee to investigate the case, stating that the students have a right to privacy.

Taif University Students’ Rights Committee Head Nasser Al-Quthami said the university had strict regulations to protect students’ privacy.

“The university however does not deal with a lot of privacy violations. In this case, the instructor has overstepped her boundaries and shall be penalized for that if she is proven guilty after the investigation,” said Al-Quthami.
