5 female students win King’s award for inventors

— Five talented female students from King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) have won the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques award for inventors and talented students.

They made their marks with distinguished achievements in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

Secretary General of Mawhiba Dr. Saud Al-Mathami thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince for encouraging inventors and the talented.

Mawhiba provides skills, training and internship opportunities to gifted students across the country.

Established in 1999, Mawhiba has a 15-year strategy to create a program that meets the needs of the nation’s most gifted children.
