Salman expresses pride over Kingdom’s prosperity

JEDDAH — The Council of Ministers on Tuesday congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, for their continuous efforts in serving Islam and Muslims as well as in leading the Kingdom to play a constructive role toward Arab, Muslim, regional and global issues.

King Salman, while chairing the weekly session of the Cabinet at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, emphasized that the Kingdom will remain a strong fortress that enjoys continuous development and growth while preserving its firm fundamentals emanating from the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah.

The King expressed his pride in what the Kingdom is witnessing as it celebrates its 87th National Day. There is all-round development and growth in all fields, citizens and residents are enjoying security and prosperity, Haj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques are getting the best facilities and services.

The King prayed to Allah Almighty to protect the country and its people from any harm.

Minister of Culture and Information Awwad Al-Awwad said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency following the session that the Cabinet also expressed happiness over the SAMA report that underscores the Kingdom’s robust economic growth as well as the strength of its financial and banking sectors.
