MAKKAH — Nazaha National Anti-Corruption Commission is looking into several corruption reports at the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance.

One of the reports is about a driver at the transportation department of the council being promoted to a managerial position and granted a large salary.

The driver does not have the qualifications for the position he was promoted to. The commission discovered a number of other unqualified employees. The reports also included a request to review the salaries of the members of the council’s executive board. The council does not have a clear career path to employees.

There were also incidents of nepotism in the council. One of the employees at the council complained that many of the council’s plans have not been implemented such as establishing a council in Jeddah and Dammam.

Nazaha has notified the council that they will be investigating the reports received and will issue the final report with the findings.
