CAIRO — The 6th edition of Cityscape, the biggest real estate show in Egypt, had recently concluded proving that the market is booming year after year. The show witnessed variety of projects by the companies and drew record-breaking number of visitors who capitalized on attractive payment offers in the residential sector.

More than 90 exhibitors had participated in the Cityscape Egypt held from March 31 to April 3 at the Cairo International Convention Centre (CICC). They highlighted projects set to change the real estate landscape in the country – especially as it looks to fulfill goals in its Vision 2030 Strategy.

The massive uptake in the number of visitors was evidenced by a steady recovery in the market, with many Egyptians turning up in droves to avail of their next real estate investment in Egypt’s prime areas and to capitalize on the special promotions and discounts at the show.

Cityscape Egypt 2017 was inaugurated by the Egyptian Minister of Housing Moustafa Madbouly, who toured the exhibition and admired life-like real estate models depicting the country’s future developments. He also discussed the projects with several exhibitors, commending their efforts to transform Egypt’s real estate sector.

“New project launches and the expansion of phases in mega-developments at Cityscape Egypt this year illustrates that the show is witnessing significant increase,” said Madbouly.

“The show has grown close to 10%, with this year’s event emerging as the largest in the show’s history selling out all halls,” said Tom Rhodes, Exhibition Director at Cityscape Egypt.

He added, “The opening of the show was immensely successful, with thousands of visitors queuing up to see the future of Egypt epitomzed in our exhibitors’ projects and to gain insight on their next real estate purchase.”

“As the curtain falls on our 6th chapter of Cityscape Egypt, we’re incredibly pleased with the way visitors have responded to this year’s event,” said Tom Rhodes,

“The turnout is evidence that real estate remains a top priority for many Egyptians, even in the most challenging of times; Egyptians understand that real estate can provide them with the security and high returns they require, with the least amount of risk,” he said.

Hyde Park New Cairo revealed details on the second phase of Park Corner, which will be completed within three years. As part of its mega-development, Hyde Park offered one of the largest landscaped parks in Egypt, spanning an area of 600,000 sqm. They also offered an 8-year payment plan on the second phase of Park Corner.
