JEDDAH — The Indian School Parents Forum (ISPAF), Jeddah honored the parents of toppers of 10th and 12th class examinations of CBSE held in March 2017 with the Parents Excellence Award recently at the Jeddah National Hospital Auditorium, here.
ISPAF appreciated the noble efforts of 19 parents of XII grade and nearly 135 parents of Xth grade along with their children during the ceremony.
The chief guest for the program was Indian Consul General Muhammad Noor Rahman Sheikh.
During the inaugural speech he appreciated the winners and their parents for their dedication and hard work to attain excellent results.
In his speech he called on parents to allow children to have an overall growth in all activities rather than just focussing on the academic grades which will take them to the further heights in their future life and in career.
He also complimented ISPAF for taking up this noble initiative of honoring parents for the best performance of their child, which will motivate all parents to assist their wards and feel proud of their children.
During the ceremony, Mohammed Asif Daudi, chairman - Managing Committee of IISJ, Syed Masood Ahmed, principal of IISJ, V.P. Mohamed Ali, managing director of Jeddah National Hospital, Rashid Ghazali, international trainer and motivational speaker, Noufal Palikoth, HM - IX - XII Boys Section of IISJ, and the other managing committee members of IISJ — Mohammed Iqbal M K, Majid Saleem Siddiqi, Tahir Ali, Noorul Ameen, Mohan Balan and Shamsuddeen Kodakkodan, the ISAF advisors — Hassan Hasainar, Salah Kradan and Abdul Azeez Thankayathil, and the ISPAF executive committee members presented the awards to the parents and addressed the gathering.
ISPAF also honored the parents and children of ISPAF family members who excelled in their class XII and Xth CBSE exams with Outstanding Performance Award.
The program started with the welcome address by the ISPAF Secretary Usman Pattambi and presidential address was delivered by ISPAF President Abdul Nasser Chavakkad.
The program concluded with an Iftar party organized by Jeddah National Hospital and vote of thanks was proposed by the convenor for the program Shajeer.
