TETRA Pak, the global leader in food processing and packaging solutions, conducted the first workshop of its 2017 Innovation Day at the Narcissus Riyadh Hotel last week. Under the theme of ‘Let’s Innovate”, Tetra Pak’s processing and technical service teams presented full-day sessions highlighting the company’s new products and innovative technologies that are designed to create added-value for customers and the food industry in general.

“Everyone in Saudi is aware of Tetra Pak because of our leadership role in the industry,” said Communications Manager at Tetra Pak Arabia Area Abdullah Hassan, “and that leadership comes from our dedication to providing innovations that lead to the development of the food industry in Saudi and ultimately, to benefits for the consumer.”

One of the key topics covered was new technologies for water-saving in production lines as a mean to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. Introducing such technology comes in line with the nation’s Vision 2030, which aims at achieving environmental sustainability and optimizing the use of our natural resources.

As the industry leader, Tetra Pak wields a tremendous amount of influence when it comes to innovation in Processing and Technical Service. Its innovative approach aims not only in reducing operational costs for its customers, but also in creating opportunities for sales growth for them.
