JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman held on Friday a telephone conversation with French President-elect Emmanuel Macron, congratulating him on being elected as president of France.
During the conversation, the King expressed the Kingdom’s desire to consolidate historical and strategic relations binding the two countries in all domains, and to work together in order to bring about peace and stability in the world as a whole.

On his part, Macron thanked the King for congratulating him, as well as for the good feelings expressed about the French Republic and people. He also emphasized the keenness to enhance bilateral relations in all fields, and to work with the Kingdom to solve all issues of mutual interest to the region and the world.

Also on Friday, King Salman sent a cable of congratulations to the Korean President Moon Jae-in, on winning the presidential elections and taking the oath of office. Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman also sent similar cables.
