John Mayer was trending on social media for his sell-out performance on May 3, in Amsterdam during The Search For Everything tour. Mayer covered Passionfruit by Drake which was appreciated and picked up by the OVO fans. Mayer tweeted: "I covered Passionfruit. @BobWeir joined me for a tune. Dave killed for 45 straight. Then we jammed on ‘80s songs. Nothing quite like it." His tour continues all the way to September.

It won't be premature to claim 2017 belongs to Atif Aslam, who is currently busy rocking UK and Europe on his new tour. 'Fast & Furious 8' continued to dominate the North American box office over the weekend, fending off newcomers at home while passing the $1 billion mark worldwide, data showed Monday.The eighth instalment in Universal's high-octane series starring Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took $19.9 million, Exhibitor Relations reported. The film has grossed $193.3 million domestically and $873 million internationally in three weeks.'Fast & Furious 8,' which had a record-breaking global debut weekend, sees Diesel's character coerced by a cyberterrorist played by Charlize Theron to turn against his own team.

During the Weeknd's performance at the Forum in Los Angeles, last week, fans were treated to a surprise guest appearance from Kendrick Lamar, who emerged from beneath the stage and immediately into his verse on the Weekend’s “Sidewalks” from the 2016 Starboy album. From there, Lamar performed “HUMBLE.” from his latest album DAMN.

'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' has raised the bar of the cinematic approach of Indian film industry. The S.S. Rajamouli flick has shattered major box office records including the ones overseas. Now according to a latest report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the film has grossed Rs 441 crore net approximately in five days becoming the highest grossing film ever leading the gross figure of 'Baahubali 2' to Rs 565 crore approximately.

Onir’s ‘Shab’ premieres at New York Indian Film Festival. Set in Delhi, the film stars Raveena Tandon, Ashish Bisht and Arpita Chatterjee and French actor Simon Frenay. 'Shab' is a story of people coming from different walks of life, some in the search for love and some towards realization of their dreams but get caught in the web of circumstances of an unforgiving city.  The filmmaker has confirmed that the Pakistani sensation who gave him the biggest hit for Bas Ek Pal is going to croon for his next film ‘Shab’ too. He says that it will be an ‘Aur Ek Pal’ moment for Atif's fans. "I have been bombarded with my fans asking that I include Atif in 'Shab' music. Everyone was asking me to recreate the magic of 'Bas Ek Pal', so I think I have to give them 'Aur Ek Pal'. He is going to be part of the film," Onir told IANS over phone from Mumbai when asked whether Atif is going to sing for his next film.
