JEDDAH — AEC, Butt Sports, KAIA, Saudi Oil, Makkah Kings triumphed in the 2nd week matches of the Jotun Paints Saudi Cup, sponsored by Jotun Paints Saudi Arabia and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).

AEC recorded a 7-wicket win after Musharraf (3-7) an Atif (2-10) restricted Eirad Travels to 93-8. Butt Sports, led by unbeaten knocks from Omar Awan (90) and Tauseef (83), put on 234-2 to beat Al-Burj convincingly by 63 runs. KAIA made short work of Pak Makkah by 5 wickets with Haroon excelling with 4-51 and scoring 40. Saudi Oil downed Awan by 5 wickets with skipper Humayun Farooq reaping a rich harvest of 4-21. Makkah King defeated Kashmir Stags by 5 wickets with all-rounders Majid (88 runs and 2-42) and Danish (21 runs and 2-40) shining.

In the other matches, ARM United beat Kashmir Strikers by 19 runs, after a hard-fought match with Ashraf (53) and Attaur Rahman (52 not out) playing crucial role, despite Awais’ 111 inclusive of 11 fours and 7 sixes. Pak Shaheen coasted to a 6-wicket win over Ittihad through the heroics of Furqan who scored an unbeaten 78 and took 2-29. Jamoom Fighters narrowly edged out Makkah Eagles by 4 runs, thanks to tight spell of 3-30 from Usman.

AEC X1 beat Eirad Travels by 7 wickets. Eirad Travels 93-8 (Aaqib 20, Musharraf 3-7, Atif 2-10). AEC X1 95-3 (Abid 66; Tariq 2-20).

Butt Sports beat Al-Burj by 63 runs. Butt Sports 234-2 (Abdul Rahman 33, Omar Awan 90, Tauseef 83 not out). Al-Burj 171-8 (Waseem 33, Kamran 41, Fahad 30; Zaman 3-36, Abdul Rahman 2-34).

KAIA beat Pak Makkah by 5 wickets. Pak Makkah 157 all out (Umar 44, Muzammil 34, Hussain 20; Haroon 4-51, Majid 4-30). KAIA 158-5 (Haroon 40, Javed 50; Omar 2-35).

Saudi Oil beat Awan by 5 wickets. Awan CC 104 all out (Ali Awan 57, Ijaz Khan; Humayoon Farooq 4-21, Mansoor 3-15). Saudi Oil 105-5 (Ayaz 48; Bismillah 2-15).

Makkah Kings beat Kashmir Stags by 5 wickets. Kashmir Stags 198-6 (Majid 88 not out, Adil 38, Danish 21; Usman 3-35). Makkah Kings 201-5 (Abdul Raheem 90, Imran 34 not out; Majid 2-42, Danish 2-40).

ARM beat Kashmir Strikers by 19 runs. ARM 242-4 (Ashraf 53, Nazeer 26, Attaur Rahman 52 not out). Kashmir Strikers 223-5 (Awais 111, Anas 52 not out; Mansoor 2-32, Moeed 2-14).

Pak Shaheen beat Ittihad by 6 wickets. Ittihad 152 all out (Fahad 24, Sajid 32; Ateeq 4-34, Furqan 2-29, Izhar 2-18). Pak Shaheen 157-4 (Furqan 78 not out, Nasir 28; Sikandar 3-12).

Jamoom Fighters beat Makkah Eagles by 4 runs. Jamoom Fighters 160 (Usman Maqbool 43; Ejaz Malik 2-29). Makkah Eagles 156 all out (Ejaz 34; Usman 3-30).
