King invites Gulf leaders to attend camel festival

RIYADH - Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has invited Gulf leaders to attend the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, scheduled to be held in Riyadh in May.

The leaders included Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, emir of Kuwait, and King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.

Eid Bin Muhammad Al-Thaqfi, Saudi ambassador to Oman, delivered a letter of invitation from the King for Sultan Qaboos.

Ambassador Muhammad Al-Hassaan, Oman’s deputy minister of foreign affairs for diplomatic affairs, received the letter on behalf of the Sultan at a ceremony held in Muscat on Monday.

The King’s letter of invitation was handed to Kuwait emir by Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Abdul Aziz Al-Faiz during a reception at Bayan Palace.

Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Abdullah Al-Asheikh handed the letter of invitation to King Hamad during a reception at Al-Sakhir Palace in Manama. – SPA
