The program is also expected to offer up to 141,000 jobs by 2020.
She noted that there are 12 initiatives and strategies that have been put forward to advance the labor market.
Majid Al-Inizi, executive manager of the human resource at Sila company for distance employment, said that people of different social layers have been keen to join this program.
Women are estimated to make up about 16 percent of the country’s workforce, according to 2015 estimates.
Women employees face a number of challenges like the absence of transportation, nurseries. They also have family responsibilities and obligations which prevent them from employment.
