CAIRO — An Italian tourism media delegation recently visited Egypt as part of a campaign launched by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism in Italy a few weeks ago to promote tourism.
The delegation included a number of travel bloggers who were able to visit some of Cairo’s top destinations.
Egypt is one of the top destinations for Italian tourists.
The Delegation included Alessandro Marras and Davide Micciulla, two of the top Italian travel influencers, as well as other reporters from two popular Italian women’s magazines: Donna Moderna and Elle.
The visit lasted a number of days and included tours of historical places in Cairo, Dahab and Sharm El sheikh.
The initiative comes after the recent visit of Egyptian Minister of Tourism, Yehia Rashid, to Italy who instructed the Egyptian tourism office in Rome to invite Italian travel media to visit and discover Egypt.
