Riyadh — A photo of young leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has taken social media in the Gulf Arab region by storm.

The photo shows Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, with representative of the King of Bahrain for humanitarian and youth affairs Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Minister of the Royal Court of Oman Khalid Bin Hilal bin Saud Al-Bousaeedi, Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Bin Jassem Al-Thani and Kuwaiti Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah lounging at a restaurant.

“The pictured showed our country (Saudi Arabia) is in good hands and we shall rise in our economies along with our Gulf brothers not just as the sixth globally but hopefully the first,” Haitham Al-Suhaimi wrote on Twitter.

The photo was taken following the first meeting of the GCC’s Commission of Economic and Developmental Affairs at the Conference Palace in Riyadh on Thursday.
