Dramatic increase in ceasefire violations by Houthi militias

RIYADH — The Command of the Coalition Forces Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen has announced that the number of ceasefire violations by Houthi militias and their supporters increased dramatically during the past 24 hours.

It said the violations reached 124 in the Jazan sector and 81 in Najran.

There were 692 ceasefire violations inside the Yemeni territory, which include 124 incidents in Marib, 24 in Shabwa, 265 in Taez, 44 in Dhale, 48 Hajjah, 116 in Al-Jawf, 25 in Sanaa, 41 in Al-Baydha and 5 in Aden.

The militias used snipers and various weapons such as missiles and projectiles in the attacks.

The Coalition Command said the response to the sources of fire was made in accordance with the approved rules of engagement and stressed the coalition troops' commitment to the policy of self-restraint toward these violations. — SPA
