DUBAI — As the summer season ends, JA Oasis Beach Tower team is planning to clean the JBR beach from rubbish this October with the support of Dubai Municipality. Beach Cleanup initiative is held twice a year in all JA Resorts and Hotels destinations, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of having a clean environment.
Yasser Mansour, general manager of JA Oasis Beach Tower, said JA properties have plenty of social responsibly participation and initiatives that focus on having a healthier environment, and one of them is beach cleanup initiative, where many beach’s visitors join the JA Oasis Beach Tower team during the event.
Mansour said ‘Soap for Hope’ is another initiative by the JA Properties, where they coordinate with Diversity to recycle hotels’ used soap.
‘All as One’ is another social responsibility that JA Properties is focusing on, where they sponsor kids from different countries and send them educational material.
Earth Hour is another initiative, where JA Resorts and Hotels team members and guests participate in the event. We turn off all hotel lights for an hour. We are also supporting local charity, including Rashid Pediatric Center, Emirates Association of the visually impaired, Bait Al Khair, etc...
JA creates an extensive exhibition with interactive guest events to showcase Emirati's traditions and culture during the UAE National Day. JA Resorts and Hotels also provide Iftar boxes for workers during Ramadan under the name of ‘Iftar charity’.
Both JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort and JA Ocean view have recently received a Green Globe certification with a testament to environmental. We have an ongoing relationship with ‘All as One’ charity and our environmental outreach remains the same and we always look for new ways to supports the community.
JA Properties are focusing on having a better and healthier environment through incorporate sustainable practices by reducing waste, avoiding the use of endangered species and using humanely treated ingredients.
