Even the deaf can now listen to Pakistan’s wildly popular Coke Studio. With Coke Studio for the Deaf, the makers of the show are trying to take their music to a section of Pakistan’s nine million people who suffer from some form of hearing loss. With its ninth season underway, the current producers, Pakistani band Strings, partnered with the Deaf Reach program to allow the hearing-impaired experience music through lights and vibrations. “As producers it becomes our responsibility to reach out to the whole of Pakistan,” explain Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia of Strings. “Coke Studio is created to blur all boundaries through music.”

Two of rap’s biggest names are joining forces for a new album. During Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto, Kanye West made a surprise appearance, dropping another big announcement on the crowd. “Toronto, I got one question for you ... Is you all ready for this album? “ he asked the audience. “I’m not talking about Pablo. I’m not talking about Views. I want to ask y’all, y’all ready for this album?” To clear up any confusion about West’s announcement, Drake also came on stage to confirm a new collaborative album. “What my brother was asking before was, are you ready if we make an album?” he told the crowd. “That’s what he was asking.”

Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra to recreate ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ moment on US musical tour. Apart from Varun, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra, Adity Roy Kapur and Badshah will be primary performers, with occasional appearances by producer-director Karan Johar. The acts have choreographed by Remo D’Souza, Binny Jonny and Punit Pathak.

The wait is finally over. More than a year after it was initially promised, Frank Ocean’s latest album, Boys Don’t Cry, is coming soon. In a move similar to other “surprise” album drops like Chance the Rapper’s Coloring Book, Ocean is releasing the record through Apple Music.

With over 12 million views for his new single ‘Tere Sang Yaara’, Atif Aslam is again trending for the right reasons. His new song “Toota Jo Kabhi Tara” composed by Sachin-Jigar features Tiger and Jacqueline for their latest movie ‘A Flying Jatt’. But that’s not it. Japanese novel and anime franchise Sword Art Online being adapted as live-action TV series. SAO is based on the popular series of 22 books by author Reki Kawahara and published by Kadowawa. Since the first novel was published in 2009, the series collectively has sold more than 19 million print copies worldwide.
