JEDDAH — Saudi Minister of Transport Sulaiman Alhamdan inaugurated Wednesday the new executive office (VIP lounge) at King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah.

Following the launch, he inspected the new executive office’s facilities and was briefed on the amenities which the place provide and the working mechanism that are in place, and the assurance that the best of services were provided to the airport clients.

During the tour, he praised the Saudi young men working at the office and described them as an exemplary role models of this country.
Abduellah Alrasheed, director of the executive offices at the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), said the new executive office of King Abdul Aziz International Airport is designed with the latest specifications and standards to reach customer satisfaction and expectations. This reflects a major shift which is taking place in the Kingdom’s airports, all with the close follow up of the Minster of Transport and the Assistant to GACA President for Airports Eng. Tareq Abduljabbar.

The new executive office is located on a total area of 4.215 square meters, with a seating capacity of 500 passengers. It includes a passenger seating area, a commercial space, restaurants, a meeting room, a business center and a prayer area for men and women.

He said GACA is currently working on the development of modernization of the executive offices in each of (KKIA and Hail Airport, while work continues on implementing executive offices projects in the remaining airports. The work will be done on stages, that include the creation of new buildings and the development and modernization of existing buildings.
The Executive Office is available to the public for membership subscription fee, where the passenger receives a high quality services and an accelerated end of travel procedures.

Currently, one can apply for membership, or renew it by filling out the membership form along with the needed documentation and send it to this email ex-office@gaca.gov.sa, or he can drop it at the nearest executive office.
