KING Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAAIA) in Jeddah launched breaking of the fast project targeting more than 200,000 passengers during the holy month of Ramadan.

The airport directorate has prepared a program which aims to distribute more than 6,000 meals per a day. The nutritionally valued meals are distributed in collaboration with Nema Charitable Society and other investors within the airport.

The distribution was conducted by 70 young volunteers which was greatly appreciated by passengers in the departure terminal.

In line with the month of Ramadan, both the arrival and departure terminals were decorated with seasonal ornaments celebrating the holy month. Two traditional tents in both north and south terminals were set up to distribute dates and Arabic coffee after Tarweeh prayers and up to Fajur time. Also Zamzam water are readied for both arriving and departing passengers during the evening.

All these efforts come from the desire of King Abdul-Aziz International Airport’s management to provide all the travelers with all the comfort as the airport is witnessing high operating rates amid total readiness alerts of all the departments working in the airport around the clock.
