THE Saudi Vision 2030 will bring about miracles in terms of massive development and progress of the nation as well as prosperity and welfare of the people, according to Sheikh Rafik Mohammed, chairman of Gammon Group.

“The Vision, unveiled by Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, will definitely be pointing to a shining future of Saudi Arabia, with a key role for the younger generation.

The Vision will herald a new era of massive growth and a giant leap in development in almost all sectors of the Kingdom,” he said while hoping that the Vision will give a strong foundation for economic progress, and prosperity for the vibrant society.

Mohammed noted that the three pillars of the Vision will augment the Kingdom in its unprecedented march toward more progress and prosperity. The Kingdom’s position as the heart of the Arab and Islamic world, its huge investment capabilities, and strategic geographical position, will be instrumental in further improving the business environment and attract more foreign capital. “The architects of this Vision, with their farsightedness and compassion, will enable the Kingdom to scale new heights of glory as the leading Islamic nation.”

As a global investment powerhouse with a unique strategic location connecting three continents of Asia, Europe and Africa, Saudi Arabia has become one of the most favorite destinations for investors, said Mohammed. “Gammon Middle East Group, under the captaincy of its President Prince Saud Bin Musaed Bin Abdul Aziz, is keen to play a crucial role in implementing the Vision programs. Our group will extend full support in materializing the Vision in key sectors, especially in construction and infrastructure.”

“Gammon’s recent move to tie up with the Saudi Canadian Business Council (SCBC) in implementing mega investment projects in the Kingdom is a major step in this regard. We have completed preliminary discussions with business groups and companies from around 20 countries, including India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Sudan and some European states to implement joint ventures,” he said.

Mohammed hoped that more and more giant international companies will come forward to benefit from the vast investment opportunities that will lay open in front of them after the announcement of the National Transformation Program. “The Kingdom’s redefining of priorities with a focus on non-oil sectors will result in robust growth and generation of tens of thousands of jobs for the qualified young Saudi men and women. The Vision has identified the real strength of the younger generation in the nation building process,” he said. Mohammed hoped that Gammon Group can play a key role in implementing mega projects and utilizing the vast investment opportunities.
