ARABIAN Centres, the leading developer, owner and operator of international standard shopping malls in Saudi Arabia, recently announced the launch of a mobile app for Apple and Android devices to further improve shopping experience in all shopping malls in the Arabian Centres portfolio.

The newly launched App, which can be downloaded free from App Store and Google Play, serves as an essential shopping guide for fashion, dining and entertainment options available in all 18 shopping malls in the Arabian Centres portfolio.

Available in English and Arabic, the app allows users to personalize their experience by registering through their Facebook or Google+ accounts. It additionally provides customized functions enabling shoppers to personalize based on their personal preferences and shopping categories.

Key features of the new mobile app include lists of latest offers and promotions, mall locator, an interactive map, store directory, details about events, in addition to generic information about individual malls such as opening hours, mall description and customer contact details.

Commenting on the launch of the new app, Simon Wilcock, CEO of Arabian Centres, said: “A key attraction of Arabian Centres shopping malls is its ability to offer international-standard retail experience combined with superior customer experience. We are confident that our new e-communication channels development will make the shopping experience even more enjoyable for our customers. In addition, this perfectly helps us strengthen and forge long-term relationships with our tenants whilst helping them further engage with mall visitors and improve sales.

“At Arabian Centres, we are excited about the accelerating pace of technology in retail space, and in keeping with the changing landscape, we will continue to look at technology innovation aimed at bestowing an unmatched customer satisfaction.”

The app also allows retailers and brands to keep consumers up-to-date with latest promotions and offers, making it a critical tool for consumers to locate deals and retailers to boost sales.

The launch of the shopping app follows the unveiling of an augmented reality mobile app that Arabian Centres launched earlier this year, offering virtual preview of the Al Hamra Mall in Riyadh, making it the first-ever virtual reality app launched by a shopping center in Saudi Arabia.

In addition, the leading retail real estate developer also launched a centralized call center facility recently through which it provides shoppers and tenants with information ranging from general queries about mall operations to leasing related enquiries. The setting up of the call centre was aimed at enhancing customer service and building loyal relationships with customers and retailers through adoption of powerful Customer Relationship Management Capabilities (CRM).
