JEDDAH — ICD (Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector) scored a 9-2 win over IIROSA (International Islamic Relief Organization-Saudi Arabia) in the second match of the ICD 3rd Annual Football Tournament in Jeddah Sunday.

This was second win for the host, ICD, which had routed ICIEC (Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit) 7-1 in the opening match of the event Thursday.

The matches organized by ICD on the occasion of the Islamic Development Bank Group’s 41st annual meeting.

The match was attended by Khaled Al-Aboodi, CEO and general manager of ICD, along side other ICD officials and dignitaries from international organizations.

The tournament is organized to celebrate the 41st annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group.

Eight teams, divided into two groups, are taking part in the tournament. The final is set for April 28.

ICD and ICIEC are grouped with Islamic Relief and Anfaal Capital in Group A. Group B comprises KAUST (King Abdullah University Science and Technology), Islamic Research and Training Institute, Ewaan Global Residential Company (Ewaan) and Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
