Mobily promotes competent Saudis to back executive team

ETIHAD Etisalat (Mobily) appointed national competencies within the company’s Executive team and entrusted them with leading positions as part of its plans to continue supporting the Saudi competencies.

Among the most prominent of these appointments is entrusting of duties of Business Support unit to Engineer Essam bin Othman Al Jubair in the position of Senior Executive Officer, Business Support, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Al Jubair will be responsible of supply chain, purchasing, facilities and administration.

Al Jubair is considered one of the prominent national competencies in Mobily, where he joined the company in 2005 and held several management positions within the company. He holds a degree in Architecture Engineering and Building Science from King Saud University. He also worked in prestigious companies such as the BAE Systems.

Mobily also appointed Tareq Alangari as Executive General Manager of Investors Relations.  Alangari has 14 years of experience in this field. He worked as a consultant in Capital Market Authority prior to joining Mobily and served in many organizations such as Al Rajhi Bank and Tadawul. He holds a Masters degree in business administration from IE Business School university in Spain and Bachelors degree in Marketing from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, in addition to several diplomas and remarkable courses.

Faiez Awadh, Chief Human Resources Officer at Mobily, said "these appointments came within the clear vision of the company toward achieving strategic objectives, particularly the  appointment of Saudi competencies in leadership  positions, taking into account supporting of executive team with Saudi young calibers in a step to achieve its aspirations, especially,  Mobily is rich with many qualified competent Saudis that play a key role in the organizational structure of the company.
