RIYADH – The chiefs of staff of the member countries of the anti-terror Islamic military alliance have stressed the military role in combating and defeating terror. They also underlined the importance of coordination of military efforts among alliance countries, exchanging information, planning and training.
They expressed their intention to intensify efforts to fight terror by bolstering their joint action depending on the member countries’ capabilities and according to each member country’s wish to participate in any operation or program within the anti-terror Islamic military alliance center.
The chiefs of staff called for taking all measures for developing policies, criteria, and preventive monitoring legislations that will counter the support and financing of terror.
This came in the Riyadh Declaration in the final communique of the first meeting of chiefs of staff of the anti-terror Islamic military alliance held in Riyadh Sunday.
