Daisy Ridley confirmed talks about playing Lara Croft in ‘Tomb Raider’ reboot. Speaking at the Empire Awards, where ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ scooped five honors, John Boyega said that he played the latest ‘Tomb Raider’ video game and thought Ridley needed “to get on that!”

Actor John Abraham said his new film Rocky Handsome is different from other action films. “The film has world class action. It’s not like any other action film. The stunts in it are lyrical as you need to maintain a certain posture when you are fighting with knives. The chances of hurting yourself increase if you don’t maintain a certain posture. I trained 14 hours a day for one month,” John told reporters. John, 43, plays Kabir Ahlawat, who shares a warm bond with a seven-year-old girl.

The countdown to Disney’s reboot of The Jungle Book has begun and a special photo-shoot of the voice cast with the animals they play has been posted on the film’s official Facebook page.

Scarlett Johansson plays Kaa, Idris Elba is the formidable Shere Khan, Lupita Nyong’o is Raksha, Christopher Walken is the frightening King Louie, Ben Kingsley plays Bagheera, while Giancarlo Esposito is Akela. The actors also shared their interpretation of the character they play in the film along with the pictures.

Two iconic characters in capes rocketed the comic-book industry into the American mainstream: Superman and Batman, twin pop-culture monuments who, though born in the late ‘30s, still reign ageless. And on March 25, these Spandex heavyweights will go (Super-)mano a (Bat-)mano for the first time on the big screen, in director Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. So who has the edge in this epic showdown of DC Comics’s most popular warriors?

After weeks of rehearsals and plenty of anticipation, Mischa Barton and the newest cast of Dancing With the Stars are about to make their debuts on the dance floor with their very first performances of the season. One of the biggest names to take the stage tonight will be The O.C. star who finally said yes to the ABC reality series after many calls and asks. “They’ve asked me for many years and it just wasn’t working with my schedule and it just wasn’t the right time,” Mischa recently told E! News’.

David Bowie believed the young New Zealand singer Lorde was “the future of music”, his longtime pianist Mike Garson has said. “David really liked Lorde, and he felt like she was the future of music, and they had a few wonderful moments together,”  Garson told fans.
