JEDDAH — The Saudi Arabian Airlines Company (Saudia) celebrates today (Monday) the graduation of the first batch of the scholarship students who have studied aviation abroad and the seventh batch of the students who are the graduates of the Saudia's program "Future Pioneers".

Director General Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser will preside over the ceremony. The first batch of the scholarship students consists of 49 graduates who have completed their theoretical and practical studies in the best American universities and training centers. They are part of 3,000 students who will be sent abroad for study under the Scholarship Program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. They obtained their B.A degrees and commercial flying licenses.

The graduates of the "Future Pioneers” program are 23 who have completed rigorous training programs on maintenance locally and abroad.

Saudia has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Education to send 5,000 students abroad during the next five years to study aviation insuring them with jobs on the completion of their studies.
