DAMMAM – No one was hurt in an attack on a bus in Qatif in the Eastern Province on Tuesday evening, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
“Four armed rioters set on fire a bus transporting workers of a company at around 4.15 p.m. The attackers stopped the bus at gunpoint as it was passing through a residential neighborhood in Al-Qudaih town in Qatif and set it on fire,” a spokesman of the Eastern Province police said.
The security forces brought the fire under control and the attack did not result in any injuries, the spokesman said.
The security forces have launched a massive manhunt to catch perpetrators of the terrorist crime, he added.
