HEC Paris is one of the most distinguished MBA schools in the world. Not only does the institute speak volumes about its rich history and students, it also boasts the success of its celebrated alumni.

The business school was first inaugurated in 1981, with a 9,000 meter-square structure that accommodated 57 students. In 2012, the school inaugurated a new academic building, designed by David Chipperfield Architects. The campus now offers 96,500 meter-square of infrastructures to accommodate over 4,000 students.

The business school has generated world-class CEOs and successful business tycoons.

HEC Paris also has a long history of excellence tied to the prestigious French Open at Roland Garros.

Roland Garros is a noted French aviator who studied in HEC Paris. He operated the first non-stop flight across the Mediterranean Sea in 1913. The biggest Tennis games are held at Roland Garros where HEC Paris hosted a media event that also hosted the former CEO of Louis Vuitton, Vincent Bastien this year. Bastien spoke about his career at Louis Vuitton, fashion and the ever-changing concept of luxury. The business school in Paris regularly often invites members of its alumni to share their experiences.

HEC has one of the largest alumni networks in Europe with 45,000 alumni based in 113 countries. 40% of HEC’s new graduates are international and more than 8,500 alumni live abroad.

The prestigious university has paved the way for thousands of students and has reportedly created better lives in the process. “As presidents of HEC Alumni, Mireille Faugère and then Emmanuel Chain both made it a top priority,” Anne Frisch, co-president of HEC Alumni international commission, explained. “Each initiative HEC Alumni now launches takes the international dimension into account” she said. HEC Alumni has defined key priority regions – the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, the Gulf countries, China and Japan – and four flagship actions – the internationalization of its hubs and clubs, the development of the Corporate Ambassador Program, the Matins HEC in English and the organization of prestigious international Galas. The multi-cultural faculty and student body ensures a unifying force that is focused on achieving the best of each potential.

The Financial Times ranked HEC Paris as the second best European business school in 2015. The HEC Paris Executive MBA offers senior managers and executives from all around the world to pursue the degree in 14 locations worldwide.
