Hitchhiker in Hail robbed by driver

Police in Hail are searching for a man suspected of robbing an Asian expatriate after assaulting him and threatening him with a knife.

HAIL — Police in Hail are searching for a man suspected of robbing an Asian expatriate after assaulting him and threatening him with a knife. The victim had left his sponsor’s house on some errand and on the way a man stopped and offered him a ride. After driving for a while, he took a knife out and threatened the victim inside the car. The expatriate struggled with him and managed to escape. The robber chased him, hit him with the car and stole his money before escaping from the scene. Police are still investigating the case.
