SOBHI Batterjee chaired the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of Batterjee Medical College for Science and Technology for the Academic Year of 2015-2016 at its third session, in the college’s headquarters in Jeddah.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Khalid Batterjee, vice chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Osama Kensara, BMC Dean, Dr. Essam Mattar, academic adviser and supervisor of private universities and colleges at the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Ghazi Damanhouri, director of the King Fahd Center for Medical Research at King Abdulaziz University, Dr. Amin Al-Harabi, head of ENT Department in the Faculty of Medicine AT Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Hatem Kotb, associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine AT Dammam University, and Dr. Essam Azhar, associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University.

The Council members discussed a number of topics on its agenda, reviewed the academic and administrative progress of work at the college, and approved organizational and administrative charts and the nominations proposed by the administration for the development of academic and administrative levels.

The Council expressed its sincere congratulations and blessings to Dr. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Issa on his appointment as Minister of Education, and wished that the ministry achieves further development and prosperity under his leadership.
