NEW YORK — Kings defenseman Alec Martinez scored with 26.5 seconds remaining in overtime to give Los Angeles a come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets Tuesday.

The Kings, who have won five straight, also got goals from Christian Ehrhoff and Jeff Carter, while goaltender Jonathan Quick finished with 20 saves.

Islanders 4, Flyers 3 (SO): The New York Islanders extended their points streak to eight games by taking down the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 in a shootout at the Wells Fargo Center.

Kyle Okposo was the lone scorer in the skills competition to win it for the Islanders.

Senators 4, Panthers 2: Senators winger Mike Hoffman scored the game-winning goal with 5:37 left as Ottawa rallied to beat the Florida Panthers 4-2 at the BB&T Center.

Hoffman, who leads Ottawa with 15 goals, has seven markers in his past six games. Set up in front of the Panthers goal, Hoffman got a deflection that came back to him and calmly deposited it past Florida goaltender Roberto Luongo.

Capitals 3, Red Wings 2 (SO): T.J. Oshie and Evgeny Kuznetsov scored shootout goals on Washington’s first two attempts and the Capitals defeated the Detroit Red Wings 3-2.

Oshie beat Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard with a wrist shot to open the session and Kuznetsov used a deke to elude Howard on his turn.

Washington goalie Braden Holtby stopped Gustav Nyquist and Pavel Dutsyuk as the Capitals (19-5-2) won for the seventh time in their last eight games.

Maple Leafs 3, Devils 2 (SO): Nazem Kadri scored the decisive goal in the shootout and the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the New Jersey Devils 3-2. It was the second win in a row for the Maple Leafs (10-13-5).

Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau and James van Riemsdyk scored for the Maple Leafs.

Blues 4, Coyotes 1: St. Louis continued their domination over Arizona with a 4-1 come-from-behind win over the struggling Coyotes at Scottrade Center.

The Blues, winless in four of their previous five, won their sixth successive game against Arizona. They outscored the Coyotes 24-6 during the run.

Blackhawks 4, Predators 1: Chicago winger Patrick Kane extended his point streak to 23 games and recorded his 600th career NHL point in a 4-1 victory over the Nashville Predators at the United Center.

Stars 6, Hurricanes 5: Stars winger Jamie Benn scored a goal and added three assists and Tyler Seguin had a goal and four helpers to lead Dallas past the Carolina Hurricanes 6-5 at American Airlines Center.

Flames 4, Sharks 2: The Calgary Flames remained hot on home ice thanks to a 4-2 win over the San Jose Sharks at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
