JEDDAH — My Care Hala Premier beat Hyderabad Sharks by 8 wickets to remain unbeaten in the JCA Ace-Initial Saudi Premier League T20 Tournament here.

ARM United, ACE Travel, Pepsi Deccan Knights, My Care Blazers, ALS Warriors were the other teams which won their outings in the 12th week matches of the event which is mainly sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and Initial Service Group and co-sponsored by ALS Borderless Logistics, Jotun Saudi Arabia, Khind Electronics, Mizo Juices (Arrow Foods), Sipco (Pepsi) and UT Lines.

The chief guest this week was Shuhaib Thazathe, while the guest of honor was Mir Mehmood Ali, director of Public Relations, Al-Rayan International Polyclinic.

ARM United beat Kashmir Stags by 39 runs. Electing to bat first, ARM United scored 229 for the loss of 4 wickets. Ata Ur Rehman (81 not out) and Ashraf (52 not out) were involved in a 136-run partnership for the 5th wicket. Bilal took 2 for 50. Kashmir Stags, in reply, was bowled out for 190. Danish scored 59 and Tariq 38. Ata Ur Rehman, Ameen and Ashraf took 2 wickets each.

ACE Travel downed Saudi Oil Company by 79 runs. ACE Travels posted 194. Abdul Wahed hit 66 and Moazzam Shoukat 30. Sulaiman claimed 4 for 20 and Ayaz 2 for 50. Saudi Oil Company was bowled out for 115 in 12.2 overs. Humayun Farooq was the top scorer with 34. Faheem Pasha bagged 3-15, while Moazzam Shoukat and Rashid claimed 2 wickets each.

Pepsi Deccan Knights thrashed Pak Green by 47 runs. Pepsi Deccan Knights, taking the strike first, scored 193 for 8. Ahmed Najeeb made 43, Sohail Bin Halais 39 and Abdul Quddus 35. Kamran scalped 3-43. Pak Green was restricted to 146. Amir Gujjar scored 57 and Yasir Adnan 32. Hyder Quadri rocked the Pak Green lineup with 4 for 31. Wajid Samdani and Abdul Quddus took 3 wickets each.

My Care Blazers thumped ICAD by 7 wickets. ICAD managed 155 for 6 as Waqar scored 54 and Mohammed Ali 38. My Care Blazers was home in 10.2 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Shad Mohammed and Fahad scored 31 runs each and Adnan Khan remained not out on 66. Shakeel took 2 for 50.

ALS Warriors scored an exciting 7-run win over Saudi German Hospital. ALS Warriors put on 172 with Talha scoring 52 and Shahbaz 25. Omar and Waqas took 2 wickets each for 29 and 34, respectively. Saudi German Hospital could score only 165, in reply. Huzaifa scored 24 and Waqar 23. Fahad, Amjad Jatt, Mohammed Amjad and Shahbaz took 2 wickets each.

Hyderabad Sharks lost to MCH Premier by 8 wickets. Hyderabad Sharks was bowled out for 156 in 16.3 overs. Zafar managed 50 and Urooj 24. Adnan Liaqat took 4 for 21 and Abu Huraira 2 for 22. MCH Premier reached the target in 16 overs losing 2 wickets. Qamar Awan (101 not out) and Shahbaz Rasheed (38 not out) took the team home with an unbeaten partnership of 129 for the 3rd wicket. This was Qamar’s second century in the SPL. For Hyderabad Sharks Parvez and Waseem took a wicket each.
