ASIR — The police foiled an attempt to smuggle khat into the Kingdom. Asir Police said a suspicious vehicle was spotted and while inspecting it the officials found 540 bundles of khat wrapped in the luggage in a concealed compartment.



The drugs were seized and the Arab driver of the vehicle has been taken into custody for further investigations.
