RIYADH — Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) unveiled the new committee for the season 2015-2016. This was announced by its Deputy Patron-in-Chief Jawad Khalifa during the executive committee meeting recently.



Earlier, Khalifa presented the report for the season 2014-15 to Patron-in-Chief Prince Sultan Bin Naser Bin Abdel Aziz Al-Saud and it was approved.



The new committee: Patron-in-Chief - Prince Sultan Bin Naser Bin Abdel Aziz Al-Saud; deputy patron-in-chief - Jawad Khalifa; president - Mamoor Elahi; CEO - Jawaid Munawar; senior vice president - Hanif Baber; senior advisor - Razaur Rahman; advisor - Mohammad Rafeeq; general secretary and treasurer - Mohammad Zakaria; joint secretary - Sarfaraz Mohamad Shakeel; media and team coordinator - Mohammad Shakeel and public relation officer - Tahir Bib Jafar.



The new RCL committee will work for the betterment of cricket in the central region. The RCL officials were congratulated by Mamoor Elahi for the successful conclusion of the season.



The committee decided to improve playing facilities, grounds and pavilions. It also approved the following tournaments: Six T20s; two 40 overs; one Six-a-Side; festival events and inter-city matches.



RCL will begin the season in the first week of September. Registration of teams concludes by the end of August.
